Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (IATA: ABJ) This is quite a modern airport and receive flights from many countries and different aircraft types including the A380. Air France has 14 flights here each week and Air Côte d’Ivoire use this airport as their hub. The authorities are presently building a metro system that will directly connect the airport with the city and completion is due in 2022. The Radisson Blu opened it’s airport hotel here in 2016. In addition, Onomo Hotel is situated at the airport and both hotels can be directly accessed from the terminal building via shuttle buses.
Abidjan is situated 14 KM from the airport and one can take an easily available taxi, a bus or even a rented car with car rental offices in the terminal. If you need to transfer between the 2 terminals you will find it easy because they are connected by a walkway. The airport has various shops, a café, bar, burger king and plenty of seating.
